vThe
Local Disaster Action Plans for DDMCs, UzDMCs and UDMCs are aimed at
preparing and protecting people at grass root levels and increasing
their capacities to cope with and recover from disasters.
vOperational
use of “Local
Disaster Action Plan”
will sensitize and mobilize community people in the overall risk
management system to cope with and recover from disasters. DMB also
prepared Local Disaster Action Plan for 756 Union, 81 Upazila, 29
District , 24 Pourashavas and 4 City corporations
